Hi Guys ,
So it has become somewhat of a yearly tradition staying up late to watch the Oscars; didn’t go to bed until 5:30am this morning. I am a big movie lover to the point that I will go to the Cinema on my own. The Oscars last night were not as great in terms of the hosting in my opinion (Ellen DeGeneres did it better last year) but I still enjoyed the award show and the Red Carpet looks.
My Favourite Red Carpet Looks:

How gorgeous do these women look!!
Zendaya in Vivienne Westwood
Rosemund Pike in Givenchy Haute Couture
Lupita Nyong’o in Custom Calvin Klein

Favourite Beauty shot of the night. How gorgeous are these faux locks on Zendaya. I want this hairstyle next. Stunning!!

There were quite a lot of controversial-empowering messages from the speeches that everyone said. I
loved Graham Moore’s speech about staying weird and staying different and not letting people’s opinions of you discourage you from dreaming big and doing what you love. The performance of “Glory” by John Legend and Common was absolutely amazing, we saw tears at the Oscars. It’s amazing how the arts can be used to send a positive message and basically unite people. Peoples stories do matter. Let’s be the change we want to see in the world. I’m glad that it wasn’t all about the glitz and glam but actually acknowledging that there are bigger issues to be addressed in the world.
Hope you get the chance to see this year’s Oscars if you haven’t already and I will talk to you in my next post.
