Style: How to Wear Mini Skirts in Winter

Jumper - E5P (similar), Skirt - H&M (similar), Tights - M&S, Boots - JustFab (similar)

Hi guys, long time no see.

I have been going through a block recently and just decided to give myself  a break from all things blogging and social media. I am however back and have decided that I would like to share more of my style and therefore will be doing a bit more fashion and style posts which I hope you will like.

One of my favourite things to do is to wear dresses and skirts no matter the time of the year so I hope you will find the following tips useful on how to keep warm in the colder months.

The key is to layer up. With a pair of tights, a sweater or jumper and some killer boots, your outfit options are endless.

Not only do tights keep you warm but grab a pair of sheer ones and you can even get to show a bit of skin whilst still being warm. If you are not a fan of tights all together then a pair of thigh high boots will have you nice and warm.

For this look I have gone a bit more casual with my flat slouchy knee high boots but put on a pair of thigh-high high-heeled boots  or ankle boots and it's a whole new outfit all together.

I tend to like my jumpers loose and baggy but it's not until very recently that I have started enjoying wearing them tucked in. I absolutely love the silhouette that this creates and the details of the skirt really do stand out more in my opinion.

Throw on a leather jacket for an edgy look or grab a classic coat for a more sophisticated look.

Dressing up should be fun no matter the time of year so experiment with some layering and don't be afraid to try out new ways of dressing.
