Skincare: The Body Shop Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Face Mask

Hi guys,

I got gifted this mask by The Body Shop and I wanted to share with you my experience of using it. The Body Shop masks are highly recommended and they have great reviews so I was super excited to try this. I have never tried any of their masks before so this Japanese Match Tea is my first.

The mask smells really fresh and it also has a nice creamy consistency which applies smoothly on the skin.

How to use:

Remove make-up and cleanse the skin. Smooth an even layer of your mask using your finger, avoiding the eyes and lips areas. Apply to your neck and décolleté too if desired. Leave for 5-10 minutes. Rinse off mask with warm water in circular motions to gently exfoliate. For optimal results, use 2-3 times per week.

About The Mask:

Helps remove pollutants and impurities

Reveals radiant, younger-looking skin

Enriched with matcha green tea from Japan and organic Community Trade aloe vera from Mexico

100% vegan

Formulated without silicones, mineral oil or paraffins

First impressions:

As soon as I put the product on my skin, it immediately had a tingling sensation to it and I did wonder if I was having an allergic reaction as I wasn't expecting it to feel that way but no, it was just the mask working it's magic.

I love the fact that you only need this mask on for 5 to 10 minutes. I have really sensitive skin so I personally only keep it on for 5 mins.

As you can see from the photos, my skin looks amazing after using the mask. It also feels so soft and my skin is definitely glowing. The mask delivers on what it claims to do and I am a huge fan of this mask. I absolutely 100% recommend this mask and will definitely be trying more of The Body Shop's masks.
