I finally got my hands on the NYX Lip Lingeries and I have to say, they do not disappoint. At £6.50, I can definitely see myself getting the whole collection to be honest. The formula is amazing, they dry very fast without making your lips dry. I've got the shades BeautyMark and Exotic and Exotic has become my all time favourite.
I also got one of NYX's metals in the shade CMLC08 - Speed Of Light. It's such a gorgeous golden metallic shade.
The star of the show really is this MUA liquid lipstick in the shade Flair which costs only £3. It is such a good product and not even just for the price. It dries fast and is transfer free and also has good staying power. The pigmentation is amazing as well. They have a whole range of colours which I can't wait to try.
Last but most certainly not least in the liquid lipstick department is this Sleek Matte Me lip cream in the shade Vino. I don't know why it took me so long to jump on the bandwagon for these, they retail at £4.99 which is less than half the fraction of some high end ones. Vino is such a gorgeous colour for the season.
Superdrug also had a 3 for 2 offer as well as a free pom pom keyring with any 3 beauty products so I decided to also get the Freedom Makeup Far Away Galaxy Lip Collection. I really loved the look of these colours and couldn't wait to try them on but unfortunately these have been disappointing, they are so sheer and creamy and just not what I was expecting.
At least I got a free keyring so, it's not a complete loss.
I have actually been using the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Primer for a while now after it was recommended to me by my MUA friend Nicola. This primer is good value for money and a little goes a long way. It's very silky-smooth, lightweight and very easy to blend into the skin.
In my summer beauty haul I mentioned that I had bought the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and I have been using it for a while now but it hasn't really given me the results that I was hoping for so I decided to give the NYX Matte Setting Spray a go. In all honesty, I have really oily skin so even with a setting spray, my makeup just doesn't stay matte for long and sadly I have just accepted it. I still use both setting sprays but I doubt that I will be investing any more in a high end spray as they pretty much give me the same result. So price point wise, I quite like the NYX one as it's only £7.
If you love neutral shimmer eyeshadow palettes then you will love the Technic Bronzing Eyeshadow Palettes. The palettes can cost as little as £1.50 and are available online (here, and here) and in some high-street stores (some pound shops also have them) . I got mine from eBay. They are definitely smaller than what I expected them to be however, these are amazing. They have great pigmentation and a good mixture of lights to darks and I have created about 4 different eye-looks already with them. These are a massive bargain!!
Of all the products that I got, the Freedom Lipsticks are really the only ones that I regret buying otherwise I have been very impressed with this haul. Sorry I didn't show any swatches, I just thought that seeing as some of these products have been out for a while now that you may already know what they look like. Let me know if you prefer swatched reviews and I will be more than happy to do them.
