Style: Step Outside Of Your Comfort Zone

Hi Guys,

A very belated happy New Year’s to you all.

Hope you had an amazing festive break. I visited my family over Christmas and now I’m back in London, back at work and back to blogging.

So, I have been playing around with the idea of making videos to go with my outfit/fashion posts for a while now. This post should have gone up way before Christmas but I chickened out of posting it because, well I made a video and it didn’t turn out how I wanted (basically making excuses).

Yes the quality isn’t great but the main reason why I didn’t want to post it is because I was actually scared –  posting a video is something new (to me) and totally outside of my comfort zone.

Two years ago, blogging was also something that was outside of my comfort zone and the idea of people ‘knowing me’ used to absolutely scare me and yet today, I’m still blogging and loving it. Basically as part of my New Year’s resolutions I have decided to step outside of my comfort zone yet again and feel the fear and do it anyway.

I’m tired of seeing so many of us holding ourselves back from doing the things that we want to do, or that we love because we become so consumed by our fears. The comfort zone is only comfortable for a very short space of time. Don’t live in regret. I believe it’s better to try something and realise that it’s not for you than to not try and always wonder.

Bottom line: We only get better when we get out of our comfort zones.

Anyways, hope you like this post, hope you are all well and I will talk to you in my next one.
