As a minimalist in the making, I do not aimlessly shop anymore. I only buy things that I actually love and need. By getting rid of all the items that were just cluttering up my wardrobe, it enabled me to see what was missing from it.
The Bag: I had a lot of big bags that I just never used because I realised that I actually don’t like big handbags except for the one that I use for work. I wanted a really small minimal black bag (’cause it goes with everything) and I found this little number in Primark and I love it.
The Shoes: I have never owned a pair of mules before as it’s more of a trend item than a wardrobe essential in my opinion and not really my style (so I thought) but I do find myself eyeing a few pairs online. Thankfully I didn’t have to buy a pair as my lovely sister gifted these to me for my birthday and I actually love them.
She definitely picked a pair that matches the type of shoes I love.
Hopefully you enjoyed this post and I will be doing more posts about shopping as a minimalist and just sharing my ideas with you. Minimalism is not about denying yourself of the things you absolutely love but rather about making room for them.
